Who We Are

The University of Ottawa Rowing Team (Gee-Gees Rowing) is a team within the uOttawa Competitive Sports Clubs program. Self-sufficient and run by a an elected student executive, the Gee-Gees Rowing program is dedicated to creating hard-working and successful student athletes both on and off the water.

We provide an elite program committed to creating a unique experience for athletes, allowing them to push themselves while enjoying the wonderful sport of rowing. Over the last few years, our club has grown substantially in order to become a dominate force on the university rowing circuit. With Stu McKenzie and Kate Gorsline as the head coaches, the uOttawa Rowing team has continuously improved their standing at university rowing competitions. Our focus on athlete and team development has helped produced elite rowers, members of the national rowing team, and world champions.

Geegees Rowing has proven to be one of the university of Ottawa’s most elite competitive club, consistently winning awards at the university and on the rowing circuit!
